Danebury Vineyard

During English Wine Week last week I was invited along to Danebury Vineyard to see where they grow grapes for their award winning wines.  I was fortunate to have chosen one of the hottest days of the year which coincided with Wine Wednesday. Situated very close to the market town of Stockbridge, Hampshire, Danebury Vineyards is tucked away among green open fields, it was a historic racing stable in Victorian times and is also next to Danebury Racing Stables. The link between these two iconic locations is clearly evident on their label and branding.

The ground in and around Danebury Vineyard is rather chalky which obviously helps give the grapes their unique taste, so I thought this would match in with the clean, crisp, white Portland Stone wine racks that I design and make.

The award winning wines available at the Vineyard are:

They are currently running a great offer on a mixed case of 6 x Award Winning Wines. You can order direct from the vineyard and they will happily organise delivery aswell.
