Woodies Wine Bar
Located in Netley Abbey, Southampton, Woodies Wine Bar occupies a converted oak framed stable barn in the grounds of a former pub which has recently undergone re-development. The original barn has been refurbushed and extended further into a modern wine bar whilst retaining some rustic traditional features.
An exciting menu, varied wine list and a delicious Sunday Roast makes Woodies Wine Bar a great place to visit.
Whilst visiting you may spot one of our medium size slate wine racks neatly placed on the bar storing the best house wines available for purchase.
Booking in advance is recommended at weekends as they do get very busy and keep an eye out on their social media feeds as often the wine bar is booked out for private and corporate events. The outdoor space has been extended further and offers a sunny spot to relax and enjoy a glass of wine outdoors in the sunshine in the Summer months. There is plenty of parking outside and being on a main bus route from Hamble to Southampton makes this a popular option for many so you can enjoy a glass or three. The waterfront is only a 5 minute walk away, Netley Abbey Ruins is a popular visitor attraction at the end of the road with Royal Victoria Country Park being a slightly further 10 minute walk away.
