Worktop Stone Wine Rack in Portland Stone for up to 6 bottles of fine wine.
1 in stock
This Worktop Stone Wine Rack from Portland Stone has been designed to display your fine wine elegantly and has capacity for 6 bottles. Hand picked direct from the Quarry in Portland, Dorset, on the world famous Jurassic Coast. Cut down to size with diamond tip blades, it’s then ready for drilling. The stone is then core drilled, ensuring there is enough stone kept to retain strength but also to enable the bottle to be stored securely. Holes approximately 90mm diameter which are perfect for wine bottles and larger sparkling wine bottles. The cores removed from the stone are all retained and there is zero waste. The cores will be recycled, cut down to size if required and re-purposed as coasters or candle holders.
Each cored out hole as then been rounded off aswell as both front edges, which gives an elegant smooth finish. Sawn flat base with rounded edges and core holes. This measures 875mm in height which is perfect for sliding underneath a kitchen worktop. They will be added to the website shortly. I currently have 100s of cores available in stock. Finally, the stone has been completely wet polished using a medium grade. This gives the stone a stunning finish and exposes internal markings perfectly. This worktop stone wine rack has sawn edges which are perfect for engraving. All engraving is bespoke work and carries a turnaround time of approximately 2 weeks. This can be slightly longer during very busy periods.
Unfortunately the Langham wine is not included and is for scaling purposes only. However it can be purchased here.
