Slate Wine Rack 31SWR2

Slate Wine Rack 31SWR2 has a capacity for 31 bottles of fine wine. This piece is fairly consistently grey in colour, splashes of ‘fools gold’ with the inside of the cored out holes being lighter. It’s very hard to find suitable pieces of slate for such large designs like this, making it a truly unique item to have in one’s kitchen, living space or commercial entertainment setting. The cores extracted during the process are split down further and then resold as coasters. Available on the website here.

Slate Wine Rack 31SWR2 is from our category of Large Slate Wine Racks, with this particular freestanding wine rack piece being a 2 man lift.  Sourced from a quarry in North Wales, which has just been awarded UNESCO status as a World Heritage Site. An added benefit of this natural material is that it requires no maintenance and cools your wine naturally. Slate is so strong and long lasting, providing both aesthetic and practical longevity for wine storage. The bottles sit horizontally in this design which is often mentioned as the preferred way to store wine. The cork is then kept moist as it stays in contact with the wine. Good wine storage is essential in preserving the quality, flavour and longevity of wine.
