Slate Wine Rack 8SWR50 with capacity for 8 bottles of fine wine. Holes are approximately 90mm in diameter which is perfect for both a standard wine bottle aswell as a slightly larger sparkling wine bottle. Hand picked direct from the quarry in Noth Wales near Snowdonia. Check out the daily webcam here. The cores have been retained, split and are used as coasters. The bases are then felted and oil’d to finish sold in pack of 4 or 8. The edge of this wine rack is fairly flat which would be perfect for engraving. These are popular as birthday, wedding and anniversary gifts.
If you do require engraving then please contact us before purchasing. This is an extra cost and is priced per letter. This is a bespoke service and turnaround time is approximately 2 weeks but does take longer during busy periods. If you are not keen on this triangular slate wine rack design then I would recommend 8swr38 with a carefully chiseled mountain top. If you have any further questions about this particular design then please contact us now. A sturdy floor is recommended however we can make up a slate base to be able to spread the weight evenly and prevent any damage to tiles. Please do remember that each piece of slate is different. I cannot guarantee the exact replication of any of my designs and I would not wish to.
