This is a very rustic slate chalk board made for a reclaimed slate roof tile.  The slate has been polished to remove the moss and twine has been threaded through the original nail holes on either side.  A further hole has been drilled at the top to fix the hearts to the threaded twine.  Chalk has been added to make the chalk board fully operational and ready to go.

This item will be well packaged to ensure safety in transit as these are very fragile.

This is a truly vintage chalk board from North Wales which was used in schools for handwriting skills before pen & paper.  The chalk board has a wooden frame around the slate.

Size is 9inch x 12 inch or 23cm x 30.5cm.

Printed on the the top of the chalk board is 'Dixons wire bound - Bangor - North Wales'.
